Open Air Opera 2022 is thrilled to announce our summer production of Vincenzo Bellini's IL PIRATA in Berlin, Germany. 

A passionate, funny, tragical and Pirates of the Caribbean-themed production that will make you laugh and cry. Some of Europe's most promising young singers will appear in the leading roles. Young, Danish conductor Magnus Larsson will conduct our wonderful orchestra, which consists of professional musicians from Berlin. The new Danish tenor sensation Valdemar Villadsen will not only appear in the leading role as Gualtiero, but will also be the production's stage director.
